You must be familiar with the frustration of having driven for hours on end only to find out that you are at the wrong place, despite the fact that you have checked the address on the map beforehand - not to mention all those one-way alleys downtown that take you further and further away from your original destination!
Dollar, a GPS navigation software product, offers drivers an efficient solution to these and similar problems. Its easy to use user interface and its accurate digital maps make navigation quite an experience. Even the novice will easily learn how to use the software. Thanks to its outstandingly user-friendly menu, any feature or setting can be accessed through not more than one or two clicks from wherever you are within the menu. The program is multilingual, and, naturally, written as well as verbal instructions are also available in Romanian.
Door-to-door navigation through multipoint route planning
The built-in intelligent search feature allows you to enter specific addresses or to select any of a number of destinations saved to the memory card. Thus, it only takes a couple of seconds to put together your personal, customized route plan, which may consist of an unlimited number of points. From this moment on, Dollar will automatically guide you to the destinations you have specified. While driving, you may decide to use spectacular 2D and 3D map views or may rely on the easy-to-understand verbal instructions of your Romanian - or English - speaking navigator. If you take a detour from the route you originally specified, Dollar will automatically reroute it for you. Use the "Bypass" feature to exclude roadblocks or traffic jams from the originally planned route. Save the path you are driving and view it on the map or play it back using the program at any time later. Create groups of your favorite destinations and store them on your own lists, each identified with a unique icon.
The GPS navigation software product Dollar features quite a few technological innovations. The real treat is the super-intelligent map zoom and pan system, which automatically and gradually zooms in and tilts the map as you approach the next turn, just to make sure that you can easily identify the necessary manoeuvre.
